Goldtalk Forum Moderators'* Position On Unacceptable Behavior
At Goldtalk.com we encourage the free exchange of ideas and diverse points of view. We understand that exchanges of this nature can sometimes result in conflict when impassioned individuals find themselves in direct disagreement with each other over emotional, sensitive, and controversial issues.
We are committed to providing an atmosphere that fosters safe, friendly, and courteous dialogue. Any actions that threaten this atmosphere in such a manner as to denigrate, humiliate, degrade, or otherwise destroy the dignity of forum members will be viewed as unacceptable behavior.
These actions include, but are not limited to: personal attacks that exceed acceptable limits, profane language, hatefulness, racial or religious slurs and epithets, threats or advocacy of violence against individuals, groups, or the government, and posting information personal to another member.
Each member is allowed to register only one account.
Members participating in these behaviors will be subject to suspension or permanent expulsion from the forum. These issues will be decided upon a case by case basis by the forum advisory board. The forum advisory board is obligated both morally and ethically to afford all benefit of doubt to individuals accused of such violations. However, because of the diversity of the members, where unanimous agreement exists regarding violations, the board will be swift and decisive in its actions. Posts made from the moderator profile are representative of the board as a whole.
