Default Local economic issues

Looks like the end for Urban Market is going to be history. Propped up by taxpayer dollars the high class supermarket never made any economic sense anyway... which seems to be how you attract "public investment" these days.

So Irving is going ahead with a $170 million bond package for a "private" entertainment center in Los Colinas?? Are they insane??

The article says if it fails to make money or the private partner backs out or something the local homeowners would be on the hook. This is total cronyism, theft of the taxpayers just like we see happening on the federal level so often.
