Default Dems Pulling for the Hurricane

Not only Michael Moore, but Dem officials.
Democrats Root For Hurricane

It's no secret that Democrats love it when things go wrong. This, though, is a particularly nauseating example. Don Fowler, former Chairman of the Democratic National Committee, and Democratic Congressman Don Spratt are caught on video laughing about the fact that a hurricane is about to hit New Orleans, to the political advantage, they suppose, of their party:

This is what Hurricane Katrina was all about. Mainstream reporters committed malpractice, repeatedly reporting things that weren't true. They did this to try to help their party at a time when the Democrats needed help badly, and they succeeded. The Democrats are desperately hoping for another New Orleans hurricane that will kill thousands of people and thus distract attention from the Republican Convention. You can draw your own conclusion about the moral stature of these people.

Barack Obama, by the way, is one of the worst. He tried to make political hay out of Hurricane Katrina as recently as Thursday night.

Funny, I don't exactly get the gist of what they presented. You cite the democrats, like as a whole. But all ya got is one guy and the context is short and difficult to hear. Yet you are going to present this junk piece as condemning of all democrats and of Obama?

Meanwhile the police and swat teams are busy in Min. raiding several places, arresting people, and confiscating anything, diaries, laptops, and computers, from those who were planning to protest the RNC. No illegal acts, it is all based on some trumped up conspiracy charges to authorize the raids.

But David pulls this piece and with it, attempts to blast all democrats as rooting for the hurricane to strike NOLA. Show me David, show me that Obama is one of these. Show me David, show me that democrats/liberals are rooting for the hurricane to stike NOLA. Not some short bigoted pice from some obscure little RW blog, but actual evidence.

I have been monitoring the cable news operations all day. Dems in St.Paul using this disaster in the making to attempt to score political points. Dem Sen Chris Dodd told Wolf Blitzer the only reason GOP convention might be altered is because of the failure to deal with Katrina. Wolf was incredulous. Asked Dodd, "are you saying this convention would proceed as usual if it weren't for Katrina?" Dodd just went on talking about Katrina.

Then Tom Daschle was asked what he thought. Said,"this is no time for politics. Shut down the convention."

They are lovin it.

While Louisiana prepares for Hurricane Gustav, Dems gloat and guffaw; RNC opening night cancelled; Fowler apologizes

Well Bush's response was a disaster. Incredibly inept. IMO he is the worst President in a century. A disaster sure for the movement. Folks don't hunt the GOP lie about Katrina that you continue to expose David. The dog rrally does not hunt at all re: Katrina. The folks wise up once in a while - not near enoguth though IMO.

You are barking up the wrong tree IMO. The GOP Congress and Bush have been an absolute disaster for this country but especially middle America and the worker next door. You can only fool folks so long. IMO as always and to be sure.

Don't you pretty much say the same thing too? Isn't that the nature of those expousing a position? The name of the game so to speak. It sort of goes with the territory. JMHO.

No one takes on GOP missteps, hypocrisy and failure as tenaciously as I do.

And as I do call the GOP and Dems too. Like I've previously posted Obhama is as bought and sold as McCain. The middle class is being sold down the river.

I have no dog in this race. I am voting Barr - and working for him and contributing to him. Yeah, its a lost cause, but I like to think that at some point Americans will wake up. Realize they have been sold down the river by Bush, the GOP and the Dems.

I step out in faith now supporting a third party candidate - and no one can know where that faith, belief, conviction may ultimately lead.

I disagree about Barr, but if you think all - GOP and Dems as well as Barr are bought and sold - why are you playing their game?! Why are you supporting any of them?!

Someday, I hope, Americans will wake up and realize they have been and are being zoomed.

Dems are pulling for the hurricane because they are hoping their people can loot it again, while calling it "restocking" and "upgrading".
