A young king was about to celebrate his honeymoon with his beautiful Queen when a messenger came and told how his kingdom had been invaded by enemies. The king immediately began rapid preparations to call his knights and meet the enemy in Battle. His bride he put in a "Chasity Belt". When the army was ready, the King had second thoughts, and called hie teacher, a local priest who had often been his guide and teacher when his father had been off to battle.
Take this key Father, and if I happen to die in Battle please unlock the belt for my bride so she may live again as a free woman, and find another love. The Father took the key and the king and his army rode off to battle, a ride two days away. After breaking camp halway to battle, the next morning they saw a distan horseman following them at a distance. "Shall we ride to meet him or waitr, the Captian asked"? "no said the King the Battle is too important to delay, perhaps he will catch up to us". Now the army camped for the night and prepared for battle the next day but no rider was to be seen. The next morning a day break, just before battle the rider overtook tham. It was the Father, and he immediately rode up to the King. "Sire? he said, I am so glad I caught you in time before battle, You gave me the wrong key!"

South Korean tourists to the US almost always make a quickstop at Kinko's and now I know why... 커피 is "keo-pee" which is Korean for "coffee"... so if an obvious tourist is asking for directions to get Keopee... send him to Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts or anywhere but the FedEx Store...

I love Korean transliterations from English words. Easier to learn and often funny.
They take their shoes off in the foyer and put on their 슬리퍼 .. "soul rippers"!! er.. I mean seul-ri-puh

Dig, dig, dig!
An old man and woman were married for many years, even though they hated each other. Whenever there was a confrontation, yelling could be heard deep into the night. The old man would shout, "When I die, I will dig my way up and out of the grave and come back and haunt you for the rest of your life!" Neighbors feared him. They believed he practiced magic because of the Many strange occurrences that took place in their neighborhood. The old man liked the fact that he was feared. To everyone's relief, he died of a heart attack when he was 75. His wife had a closed casket at the funeral. After the burial, she went straight to the local bar and began to party As if there was no tomorrow. Her neighbors, concerned for her safety, asked "Aren't you afraid that he may indeed be able to dig his way out of the grave and haunt you for the rest of your life?" The wife put down her drink and said, "Let him dig. I had him buried upside down. And I know he won't ask for directions." |

I was so depressed after the election thinking about health care plans, the economy, the wars, lost jobs, savings, social security, retirement funds, etc. that I called a suicide line. I had to press 1 for English and connected to a call center in Pakistan. I told them I was suicidal. They got so excited and asked if I could drive a truck.
