Attorney General Ashcroft is visiting an elementary school. After the typical civics presentation, he announces, "All right, boys and girls, you can all ask me questions now."
A young boy named Bobby raises his hand and says, "I have three questions: 1. How did Bush win the election with fewer votes than Gore? 2. Why are you using the USA Patriot Act to limit Americans' civil liberties? 3. Why hasn't the U.S. caught Osama Bin Laden yet?" Just then the bell sounds and all the kids run out to the playground. Fifteen minutes later, the kids come back in class and again. Ashcroft says, "I'm sorry we were interrupted by the bell. Now, you can all ask me questions." A young girl raises her hand and says, "I have five questions: 1. How did Bush win the election with fewer votes than Gore? 2. Why are you using the USA Patriot Act to limit Americans' civil liberties? 3. Why hasn't the U.S. caught Osama Bin Laden yet?" 4. Why did the bell go off 20 minutes early? 5. Where's Bobby?" |

1. How did Bush win the election with fewer votes than Gore?
Interesting observation: The answer to this question can be found in the United States Constitution. It is called the Electoral College. The Left is usually the first to hue and cry about the "Constitutionality" of one issue or another. "XXXX is Unconstitutional" they bray. Often times the argument is spurious, such as the so called "separation of church and state". But faced with an issue that is very clear in the Constitution, The Left cannot deal with it, and now the Constitution is not valid in their eyes. Like so many things, kids, you can't have it both ways...

LOL, I thought it was pretty funny actually, but Derick is right.
Regardless, it was funny, especially the part about the kid disappearing, almost sounds like the Clinton years.

Sadly, humor is often used to try to brainwash one with such lies. That can take away from the humor. The DemocRATs still claim the the Election was stolen, even though liberal newspapers found the Florida results to be correct. If you say a lie often enough, some people will believe it.

I'm more concerned about the "Patriot Act II" being processed by the Justice Department BEFORE Congress.
