THis video is hard to take. Zarkaiwi himself may have done the beheading. The media does not hesitate to show Iraqi prisoner pictures. They will not show this though. Ted Kennedy and Co. will say that our abuse of Iraqi's caused this. There is no comparison.

Don't you just love the way AP tried to turn this into a crime by the US, ending the article with claims that the man was arrested and held by the US military, implying that he would have been safely home but for that. Or, more darkly, raising the suggestion that the military might know more about how he ended up in the hands of his murderers, hence the lack of "helpfulness" on the part of the government.
No outrage over the murder of a helpless captive, just insinuations about the military and government. |

Shepard Smith of FOX news shows some guts. Obviously extremely angered by the video, Shepard Smith, displayed his frustration, by saying that he was not allowed to show the video, but that he would describe the execution in graphic detail, and he proceeded to do so. Good job, Shep!
I only hope that every soldier in our military is being shown this video. The Iraqi Abuse scandal has just been made irrelevant. |

Chopping a man's head off is quite a contrast to the silliness that went on at that prison. I was asked about going to Iraq a couple of months ago by a company. Unbelievable money - not no, but H--- NO! |

The Internet and Fox News continue to redefine the way news is delivered. Keeps pressure on the RAT outlets, and as a result, I wouldn't be surprised if the major networks at least mention the beheading this evening.

I can't wait for the Left to justify this.

I like your point, Net. It will be interesting to see if the network news mentions this, if it will be their top story, and if they do mention it, how they will spin it.

They'll probably spin it as if this is just expected punishment for the abuse; same way our enemies spin it. Typical RATguano.

Right Net,
Of course it will be Bush's fault. |

Most definitely, Sam. They'll want another press conference with Rummy, too.
Instead, we should be thinking about his family and using this as another focal point for strengthening our resolve. If these terrorists had uncontrolled access to this country, beheadings would be a common occurrence on courthouse steps. RATs don't have a clue.

Oh are they? I hadn't seen that coverage; guess I better turn on the TV. Sad situation. I feel for them, but when you go into a war zone, you take on those burdens and risks. Hazard Pay falls short, when its purpose kicks-in.

Michael Berg lashed out at the U.S. military and Bush administration, saying his son might still be alive had he not been detained by U.S. officials in Iraq without being charged and without access to a lawyer.
Nick Berg, a small telecommunications business owner, spoke to his parents on March 24 and told them he would return home on March 30. But Berg was detained by Iraqi police at a checkpoint in Mosul on March 24. He was turned over to U.S. officials and detained for 13 days. His father, Michael, said his son wasn't allowed to make phone calls or contact a lawyer. ... Michael Berg described himself as fervently anti-war, but said his son disagreed with him. -- from the article. Even so, your son was in a war zone. No one forced him to enter Iraq.

If the Rats blame Bush and the Admin for this man's death, that would be like blaming all adulterous affairs with interns on Clinton and Lewinsky. Hey if the President can do it, it must be ok. Afterall, it's not sex. Ok, the analogy may be weak but you get my point.

I just saw a portion of this video, and it definately has a galvanizing effect.
I've seen the WTCs do down a hundred times, and it didn't move me like this did. If I wasn't too old, I'd go down and enlist. There is nothing I would rather do right now than take out a few of those animals. |

Zarqawi, would be a huge get. We need to get this guy. He is Al Qaedas chemical weapons expert. He's going to cause a lot of damage if we don't get him.

Where did you see the video? I followed the original link and it showed a pic, but not a clip.

Sean Hannity has the link. But his website may be currently down due to the number of hits.
