You didn't get to the bottom line:

This is a totally unnecessary conflict for the US to be involved in. So help me, if Obama commits to sending troops after promising otherwise there should be hell to pay. When in doubt stay out.

McCain goes to Libya and visits with the rebels. Which means that someone knows WHO is leading the rebels - just some National Transition Council. Why the secrecy of who is leading the effort over there and just what is the make-up of this council? It seems, sadly, the US government is shrouded in secrecy in various attempts to hide information from the American people when it comes to the middle east.

McCain says the rebels are his heroes. He is giving Obama cover. I am convinced most Republican voters are against this intervention. Just my finger to the wind.
