Rep. Paul Ryan (R-Wis) says he'd "consider" the VP nomination if asked. He might make a very good choice.

It won't matter. Picking a conservative might give him a little bump from an excited conservative base until they realize the Veep is a pointless position and Romney is still a liberal.
Picking a RINO like Christie would just seal the coffin of this campaign.

The Republican establishment has proven one thing in this primary; they want to break the back of the tea party specifically, and conservatives in general.
It'll be Christie. Not that it matters... veep is a useless position as far as policy goes. But I still bet on the fatass... "What? You want Obama to win?"

Exactly. They force RINO's on us and then blame us if he loses.
Same ol, same ol.

+1. My guess was Daniels. Won't excite anyone, but won't scare them away either.

It doesn't really matter who the VP choice is, Romney will still be Romney. The most uninspiring, boring and dislikable candidate in a lifetime. Even the most unpopular President since Carter could see a landslide against Mittens.

Barack Obama’s intellectual sociopathy — his often breezy and sometimes loutish indifference to truth — should no longer startle. It should, however, influence Mitt Romney’s choice of a running mate.SOURCE

No we are conservatives who don't want to compromise principle for sake of a party winning an election. There is nothing in Romney's past to remotely suggest he will govern right of center much less as a conservative. A little bad in today's economy is just bad. Maybe not heading to the cliff as fast as current administration but definitely not trying to turn around is what you get with Romney.

I am not a purist, I wish we could find perfection. Romney is not even in the right party. Romney is not even close to suitable. I cannot find one issue where he is a solid conservative, not ONE FREAKING issue.

I dont have a lot of good to say about Romney and what he and his buddies did in the Bain Capital days. (And if I recall correctly, the free market capitalism crowd disagree with me) But dang, Romney is a pro free market kinda guy, and that means good things for this nation and for the citizens of this nation.
