If no one's mentioned them before,
anything
by KC and the Sunshine Band! Boring and sleep-inducing "music"; repetitive and redundant "lyrics".

How can Biz Markee's Stairway to Heavan-esque lyrical masterpiece, "You got what I need", be omitted from such a list????
Also (going back a few years)...

I'd like to nominate some:
John Travolta "Rainbows" (part of the "so bad it's almost good again" class)
Michael Jackson "Childhood"......(just plain creepy)
Of course Oingo Boingo "Weird Science".....I love the movie, yet hate the song.
Can I just leave that with anything by Britanny/X-Tina/Avril Lavigne/Jessica Simpson/Ashlee Simpson.......they ARE all the same.
Oh, yeah......the new "sanitized for your protection" brand of "punk" thats out there.....maybe some of your kids listen to it? ie: Good Charlotte/Simple Plan/Blink 182.......total ca ca. Give me the Ramones any day!

Anybody else read that list and realize just how many of those songs you liked?
What is Huey doing on that list? They shouldn't be anywhere near it.
Wang Chung wasn't great but they weren't that bad, either. If Wang Chung was on the list then you would've had to put Men Without Hats on the list as well.
Vanilla Ice gets a mixed reaction. I just saw an AMV which fused his Ice Ice Baby with Queen's/Bowie's Under Pressure and it came out as a beautiful work of art.
Which song was worse: Crash Test Dummies MMM song, or Wierd Al's version of MMM?
The Final Countdown was not the worst song on that album. The song dealing with the Indians (I think it was called The Trail) was worse than that.
Right Said Fred was funny.
Meatloaf: compared to his first album, sure it stunk. Considering he hadn't released any new songs in a decade or two.....
Mister Mister wasn't that bad.
I'm not saying that Don Johnson shouldn't be on the list. I am saying he should be much closer to the top of the list, however.
There's nothing wrong with Sunglasses at Night.

Number6 hit the bullseye. "Seasons in the Sun" is in a class all by itself as the worst song of all time. No song is as bad as that one.
I also liked "Midnight at the Oasis"

Yeah.. I'd be ashamed too..
There are plenty of songs from the 70's and 80' I liked at the time then, looking back, wondered why..
I put 'Midnight..' right up there (down there?) with Minnie Riperton's 'Lovin You'

Did 'Midnight at the Oasis' make the list?
I haven't seen Blender's list, but I'll bet "Midnight..." was on it. Most of the lists I've seen published of worst songs had it along with "Alone Again (Naturally)" and "MacArthur Park."
"Midnight at the Oasis" was one of those songs I liked and was ashamed to admit.

I haven't seen the Blender list, but my choices are
* "Afternoon Delight" - Starland Vocal Band
* "Seasons in the Sun" - Terry Jacks
* "When You Wish Upon a Star" - as covered by Gene Simmons of KISS
* The Bay City Rollers' entire discography (these "men" should've been shot on sight)
