I'll post the invitation here just as soon as Yahoo! brings it up in next month. I can't wait. I've got Yahoo! set up so that it will notify me via email when it comes up. Thanks.

Thanks, Iceit. We're up to six teams now. There won't be any dead teams in our league this year if I can help it.

I'm waiting for stupid Yahoo! to put Greg Maddux on the available players list. They did the same thing last year when Kenny Rogers was in contract limbo. Rolling Eyes

I am going to sign-in as soon as I get home. The PCs at work have a filter for fantasy or games. They must know me too well.

I played a fantasy football league in Yahoo and took 3rd out of 8 teams. Funny thing is, I placed 8th in the regular season and demolished the #1 seed in the first round. I didn't understand how the season operated until half way through. Now, I hope to be better prepared and have more fun with this. However, are the Stat updates worth purchasing just for being more knowledgeable?

Joe, I scored 106 points out of 120 points in my Fantasy Hockey league even though I didn't know anything about hockey whatsoever. So a lot of your success depends upon unknown factors such as luck or relative eminence of your competition and the premium add-ons probably won't help much.

Still, much of your success depends upon how you pre-rank your players for the draft in late March. The pool of pitchers will be small so you may want to make sure that your pre-rank list includes only players who make the final cut to the opening day rosters. http://kmbumb.people.wm.edu/

Exclude severely injured players (out for the season) from your pre-rank list. http://www.letsplay2.com/baseball/injury_calendar.cfm

I like to sort my pre-rank list by OPS and WHIP. These statisics capture more than any other the total eminence of each player.

http://mlb.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/mlb/stats/mlb_league_leaders.jsp?baseballScope=mlb&statType=2&sortByStat=WHIP&timeSubFrame3=&timeSubFrame=2003&Submit=Submit&timeFrame=1

I hope that these tools help you. Thanks.

Hey Av
No more than 12. One more to go. Any more than 12 is too many.

Be sure we introduce each other. A lot of names I'm unfamiliar with.
