Back in the late 70s Richard Simmons (yeah, THAT one) tried to make it as a rock star.
He cut an album of Beatles hits.

I've heard the "Hey Jude" part, and it just doesn't get any worse than that- worse that chalk on a blackboard.

I don't think it qualifies for our list though, because no one took it seriously.

For good 90's music, may I recommend The Crash Test Dummies or The Smashing Pumpkins for people who like a wide range of musical tastes.

This next one is wierd as I can't remember the name of the band, but I remember an album and one of the songs o_O.
If you're into rock, then look for an album called Ixne on the Hombre. The song that sticks out is Come Out And Play.
If you are familiar with that band then please post it (it's driving me insane trying to remember). For those not familiar with them, keep in mind while you're listening to them: most were going for higher degrees in college when they put that together!

Anybody else read that list and realize just how many of those songs you liked?

What is Huey doing on that list? They shouldn't be anywhere near it.

Wang Chung wasn't great but they weren't that bad, either. If Wang Chung was on the list then you would've had to put Men Without Hats on the list as well.

Vanilla Ice gets a mixed reaction. I just saw an AMV which fused his Ice Ice Baby with Queen's/Bowie's Under Pressure and it came out as a beautiful work of art.

Which song was worse: Crash Test Dummies MMM song, or Wierd Al's version of MMM?

The Final Countdown was not the worst song on that album. The song dealing with the Indians (I think it was called The Trail) was worse than that.

Right Said Fred was funny.

Meatloaf: compared to his first album, sure it stunk. Considering he hadn't released any new songs in a decade or two.....

Mister Mister wasn't that bad.

I'm not saying that Don Johnson shouldn't be on the list. I am saying he should be much closer to the top of the list, however.

There's nothing wrong with Sunglasses at Night.

Of course Oingo Boingo "Weird Science".....I love the movie, yet hate the song.

Can I just leave that with anything by Britanny/X-Tina/Avril Lavigne/Jessica Simpson/Ashlee Simpson.......they ARE all the same.

Oh, yeah......the new "sanitized for your protection" brand of "punk" thats out there.....maybe some of your kids listen to it? ie: Good Charlotte/Simple Plan/Blink 182.......total ca ca. Give me the Ramones any day!
